Google Anniversary: Celebrating It’s 13th Birthday!

Today is Google anniversary as the site celebrates it’s 13th birthday! Google was created by Larry page and Sergey Brin in 1998. The domain was registered on September 15, 1998 and Google celebrates it’s birthday officially on Septembe 27.

The term” Google” came from the mathematical value “GOOGOL” starting with 1 and followed by 100 zero’s. This name also reflects the huge amount of information stored in the directories of the Google’s database.

Today, there is no search engine out there which can match Google’s information database. No one can imagine searching the web without Google. 90% of the search market is owned by Google only, other’s being Bing,Yahoo etc.

Google anniversary

Since it’s launch, Google has made a huge landmark in the field of Search Engine’s. If we have to search for something on web, the first word that come’s on everybody’s mind is Google because in terms of searching, no one can compete with Google. At the end, I would only like to say:

Happy 13th birthday on your Google anniversary!
