Create a Bootable Pendrive for Windows 7 in 4 Simple Steps

Bootable Pendrive for Windows 7

Today, there are many ways available on the Internet from which you can make a WIN7 bootable USB but those ways are really complex and hard to implement. Here in this tutorial, I will show you how you can make a Windows7 bootable USB in the simplest way through a very light software known as ULTRAISO.

Things that you would need:

1. 4 GB pendrive

2. Ultraiso (Download link)

Steps:

1. After you have downloaded the software, open it with administrative priviledges, i.e right click on the icon and choose run as administrator and you will get a window like this:

2. Now under the “LOCAL” menu option, choose the WIN7 files from the drive where they are present. Like here in the image below, my files are located in my G drive. Then drag all the files to the top menu.

3. Now that you have copied the files, connect your pendrive to your PC/LAPTOP and then go to bootable menu and select write disk image and a  new window will appear. In that window, there will be an option “Format.” Click it and format your pendrive.

4. After you have completed the format command, simply click on the write option and wait for the process to complete.

After the process has been completed, you will get a bootable WIN7 pendrive.

See how simple it was to make a bootable pendrive for Windows 7 with the use of a simple software.

1 question buddy..the files which we are going to drag in the menu option should be copied from a bootable disc only..

    • Abhishek says:

No it’s not at all necessary that you should copy the files of a bootable disc only..Because ultraiso will automatically make it bootable after the whole process..

the link you have given to download for Ultra ISO is taken as adware/spyware by AVG internet security. So do the needful for you.
